My name is Lori Haddle and from a very young age I loved to cook and eat and have had, at times, an unhealthy relationship with food. I was a "chubby" child and have had body image issues for most of my life. After having my first child I begana journey of self-improvement and life balance. About 10 years into my journey I was introduced to a health coach and completely transformed my life! With her support, in about six months I made a series of improvements that greatly impacted my health and well-being. I didn't just lose weight. My skin looked better, I had more energy, I wasn't bloated or nauseous and for the first time in over 15 years I was able to go off my cholesterol and acid reflux medication. I had self-confidence and could finally buy clothing styles that had previously made me uncomfortable. All of this not only made me a better mom, wife and employee but more importantly it made me a better me!
About the same time I was also in WE Lead, a women's leadership program, through the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamberi. It was there that I discovered my true mission for helping others to reach their full potential. My experience in Talent Management and Human Resources has given me considerable opportunities to coach and develop people in a professional environment. By adding in nutrition and lifestyle coaching I am able to support someone in all aspects of their life.
All of these experiences led me to enroll in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. IIN is the the largest school in the world focused on nutrition. The curriculum is based on bio-individuality, meaning no diet is one size fits all. I learned over 100 dietary theories covering topics such as deconstructing cravings, emotional and compulsive eating, blood sugar and glucose, metabolism, health digestive system function, and family nutrition. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a Personal Wellness Plan that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
On a more personal note, I live in Florencey, KY, a suburb of Cincinnati. I have been married to Chris for over 16 years. We have two children, Jackson and Leah, and a German Shepherd named Vegas who thinks he is a lap dog. My family is quite active in sports so I spend most of my free time in a gymansium or on a ball field cheering for my favorite team! Personally I participate in all kinds of relaxation practices and movement ranging from meditation to boot camp. I have even done a Mudathalon! I support causes in line with my vision for Fuel Up and this is one reason I am Girls on the Run coach. I also love cookbooks, trialing new recipes (my family doesn't always love this part!) meal planning and entertaining!
